Annual usage is 3,500 pieces per year for the 9-piece steel weldment. After prototype revisions, the final tooling was one impression on a 20×24 plate with six cores set per mold. Core equipment was two family Laempe 25 coreboxes. The two pin cores and four body cores are assembled as they are set in the mold. A direct pour riser allows for a 75% yield.
